Cong leader Zameer dares party colleague Tanveer on popularity; wants bigger car

Bengaluru, Jun 20 (DHNS): Congress leader B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan has hit out at party colleague Tanveer Sait over the latter's remarks against him.

Khan, who is also the Food and Civil Supplies Minister, on Tuesday questioned Sait’s stature as a Muslim leader in the party, saying that the high command would have picked Sait for the Cabinet if he really was the face of the community.

The minister also threw a challenge at Sait on his popularity in his own constituency, Narasimharaja in Mysuru.

“I will visit his constituency. Let him also come. We will see who manages to mobilise a large crowd. Then, he will realise who is the leader,” he told reporters on seeking his reaction to Sait’s recent comment that Khan was unfit to represent the Muslim community.

“The Congress has done a proper survey of leaders and selected able leaders to become ministers.

This has obviously upset leaders like Roshan Baig and Sait,” he said. Khan denied Sait’s charge that he tried to defeat him in the elections.

The minister said he had sought a big car for his use from the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR).

“I am used to travelling in a big car. The Toyota Innova car given by the DPAR is a small one. It will be good if the Toyota Fortuner that Siddaramaiah (former chief minister) was using is given to me,” he said.

Tanveer Sait was the minister of minorities. Has he done his work properly. He is a disgrace to the society,. There are lots of students who have not got the minority scholarship for the year 2016 - 2017 and he is projecting as a capable minister. While checking the status of the application shows pending with the bank. As a minister has he done his job sincerely. Why he could not pay the scholarship for the students. Such type of useless ministers should be kicked out.

He provided his company buses to take Cong- JDS MLAs from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. That is his qualification to become a minister in this government.
Instead of asking Siddhu's Fortuner he can use his own buses which are much bigger.

SRIMAAN YEDDIURAPPAJI IS THE ONLY LEADER IN KARNATAKA WHO CARES FOR PEOPLE.

THE RESPECTED GOVERNOR SHOULD DISMISS THIS GOVT AND HANDOVER THE STATE TO SRIMAAN YEDDIURAPPAJI.

SRIMAAN YEDDIURAPPAJI CAN ONLY MAKE KARNATAKA A PROSPEROUS STATE LIKE GUJRAT.

IN MY OPINION ALL THE STATES IN INDIA SHOULD HAVE ONLY & ONLY BJP GOVERNMENTS.

THIS IS WHAT WE CALL HINDU RASHTRA.

Look like you are corrupted & you need corrupted people to come in to power to make our Karnataka more corrupted nation.

We need people who develops our Karnataka not the one who are in to corruption.

No matter to which party it belongs, The person should have moral values and should serve the people of karnataka.

Eddi will never become CM in his life. He tried his best and cried and resigned. Money cannot buy everything you need a face value for doing that. He was banking on Ramulu and Bellary brothers. First let him be good with Eshwrappa and then at least he can try MP seat in 2019.

Representation of minority leaders is needed in Democracy but there are some politicians in Karnataka abusing the minority tag. I travel via Chamarajpet every day where Mr ZAK is the MLA ( and has been in the past too) and it simply takes me to the dark ages. Iam convinced that this man has come to limelight only with Rowdy culture, appeasing slum dwellers by paying them cash and thus winning votes. This is the place in Bangalore where most of the cleaning up is needed . Instead this man is only interested in show off.
