This man once famously declared he did not believe in God and was a rationalist. Old age has brought him to an hospital built by the pattada pergade family of dharmasthala who are devoutly religious. Guess times change a lot of things.

To be precise Shri Siddaramaiah will be out of and free of the ailment called "Sleep Apnea Syndrome" from which he has been suffering.

As it is you people have insulted him time and again saying "Nidderemaiah" without knowing the actual reason why the noble soul was going into bouts of sleep during parl sessions.

One lesson you people should learn.. ie. sicknesses and health issues are a part of life. We are all susceptible to sickness of various kinds.

    Good break.
Up and downs are there for everybody.
Continuous, hectic schedule and responsibilities kills.
Some rest and rejuvenation is always better.

Well deserved break. After the hectic campaigning. After the humiliatingly heavy drubbing in Chaumdeshwari, and near defeat in Varuna. After the running to HDD and HDK residence and dancing to their tunes. After being a tour operator by moving MLAs from resort to resort. And eventually accepting any portfolio to please his boss. Take a good rest .

Ravi - you are so sarcastic in your post - perhaps you are boiling with some kind of jealousy about Sidduji. This man - for his age - has put to shame many of the young leaders. He was relentless. Forget your affiliation to any party - the man has done well for Karnataka irrespective of your sarcasm. We thank him and wish him all the best as KANNADIGAS. Winning and losing is a part of the system. Every one can not be a winner all the time; particularly when EVMs decide pre-ordained results.

Sidda is 2 years elder than Modi. Now you compare who is relentless! Alas, we have poor EVMs to blame when there is no other option left! Was the EVM worked fine in recent by polls?! :-)

Different types of ailments require different kinds of treatment.
    We can't generalize.
Siddaramaiah needed nature cure in Dharmasthala.
Manohar Parrikar needed treatment in the U.S.
