Bangalore, May 21: The VVPAT carrying boxes found in Managuli village of Basavana Bagewadi taluk do not belong to Vijayapura district nor to Karnataka Election Commission, clarified Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer Sanjiv Kumar in Bengaluru on Monday.

As many as 8 VVPAT carrying cases found in a temporary shed near Managuli village is without machine and paper and without unique Electronic tracking number.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "The Election Commission will initiate strict action against those who are trying to create confusion."

Based on the news aired in a news channel on May 20, the District Commissioner and District Superintendent of Police have personally visited the site and conducted inspection.

The Chief Electoral officer further clarified that no VVPAT machines were found at the spot.

"These boxes found in the shed do not belong to Vijayapura district and 2744 VVPATs allotted to the district are safely kept in the strong room,’’ he clarified.

This man is desperate to hush up the things without proper investigations. Yesterday there were media reports about how thousands of voter identity cards found in an apartment at Raja Rajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru are being returned based on declaration that the person had lost his voter id. Fishy. He is trying to cover up many illegal things that have happened.

Fantastic arguement by EC. A well thought statement! So if some vehicle is carrying bundles of currency and if someone informs the Police about it, can the Police say, it does not belong to any Bank and leave the vehicle?? What are we talking??

We are convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt that EVM rigging still happens. There is too much of circumstantial evidence which the EC time and again passes off as technical fault but now what will they say about these VVPATs.

However, the biggest joke is that Cheddyurappa is going complaining to EC about it. This is either a drama or a trick to throw investigators off the scent/mislead the investigators. This is a common trick used by thieves, criminals etc.. Kidnap someone and then pretend to help the police search for the person. Most likely this a drama to confuse the public.

Modi led BJP has put up one thing right for themselves, i.e. they have got people in right places to sing the tune what RSS wants. Take media there are TV chnls like TOI, Republic, ZEE, whose only job is tweak, twist and present the news in such a way that suits BJP. Then you have CBI, IT, ED, to target the opponents and shut them down. Cops are there to save mafia. There is penetration within judiciary too, where all criminality get washed away. Governors who sit and dance as they are asked to do. Now to add to that gang, election commission.

Now, it goes the full circle. There is no escape.

People think all it happens for the good of nation. Give it a break. If any one knows the history, it is the start of decimation, where the weak and innocent gets ridden first. Importantly, there is no partisan in that.

There is still time and hope that people realize before they jump along with piped piper.

The real game is open for 2019 general elections.

All United opposition combine should gather momentum now after KAR-NATAKA election results ...still "ONE FULL YEAR" is there in hand for you....

A few suggestions for 2019 general elections:

    1. Link Aadhaar to Voter Id Card.

    2. Without digital Aadhar authentication, don't allow to after authenticity send SMS to their mobile phones.

    3. If any problem arises during Aadhar authentication for farm labourers etc only in those cases(exceptional), allow passport or Bank documents only for verification and allow them to vote.

4.Go only 100% Ballot Paper voting though it's a gross expenditure to the government eschequer and we are going backwards to conventional methods...What's a big deal about it?.
Even countries like U.S. & Japanese and many more are using the same methods as of date.......

Are we more advanced digitally developed than these two countries???????.

Defeat FEKHU & DAAKHU from these frauds from disguising and emotional blackmail voters in the name Hindu .....blah...blah..& and using institutions as their personal property!!!

Time to switch back to ballot papers & boxes which are transparent letting party booth workers or representatives to see that boxes are not stuffed with many votes even before first vote is cast like in some European Countries.
    Questions EC needs to clarify-
Does the EVM controlling officer know how many votes are cast while voting is going on, if not what guarantee is there that they might not contain previous votes in another election or were pre-stuffed with additional votes,
Does it show the final figures of votes cast & that they match list of voters who had voted in that booth?
Do they show the VVPATs don't contain any votes in printed form before voting starts to match EVMs?
Why no cross verification of VVPATs with EVMs selected randomly by poll agents for minimum 25%, if found any discrepancy, then all VVPATs to be cross verified with EVMs? If they are not done then what is the use of having them? Only as a SHOW PIECE?
Why no provision to submit them to the courts if any candidate challenges the election declared is wrong & has any doubts? If the commission can't afford the expenses then collect the same from candidates Deposit with them.
Is EC supreme than people who vote in a Democracy, if not then why people shouldn't be given a choice to select their mode of voting to ballots or EVMs?

I say this again programming and electronics is a game. If there is no INTEGRITY in the programmer most anything can be achieved.
If you don't believe me ask yourself why there is virus, antivirus, malware, antimalware,.....its like you create the problem....then ask people to pay for safeguarding against the problem. Sophisticated "HAFTHA" business.
Apply same principles (I know most people won't get it....so I kept quiet for so long) to EVM which is a much simpler device than your laptop or smartphone. You still need antivirus on both these.
    So THINK!

Very much true. JRL, who did so much of developmental work in Mangalore was in no way expected to lose.

Well, when a voter IDs are issued based on a person's mobile number, there should be a system to send SMS to the voter when his voter ID is used, indicating to which party his vote is given. Granted, it can be contained till the day of result to safeguard confidentiality, but this way there is an alternative method to come to an average votes a particular candidate received.

Otherwise the golmaal that is going on is too deceiving to the voter.

So who do those VVPAT boxes belong to ? What is the reason for anyone to have VVPATs other than EC ? EC should thoroughly investigate. If there are VVPATs then are there some non EC owned Ballot Units and Control Units too (which are part of the EVM set up) linked to these VVPATs ?
This is a very, very, very serious matter and until a full thorough probe is conducted and the complete truth is unearthed it will only reinforce suspicions of the misuse of EVMs by the Feku party.
