Tragedy in Goa: Three children from Mangaluru drown in pond

Mangaluru, May 16: In a tragic incident, three children from Mangaluru drowned in a pond near a temple in Goa on Wednesday May 16.

Reports in the Goan media stated that three have been identified as Adithi Bhat (12), Bhuvneshwar Bhat (8) and Sravan Balakrishna Holla (7).

The tragedy reportedly took place in the pond in Nagueshi temple premises at around 6 pm.

A family of nine from Mangaluru were on a visit to Goa and had come to Nagueshi to seek blessings from the temple, sources said.
