Mangaluru, Apr 26: Sambit Patra, national spokesperson for BJP, has come out with 10 questions for Congress president Rahul Gandhi demanding answers for the same during his visit to the state.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, April 26 Patra said, "Siddaramaiah-led government is only concentrating on lies. They do not have any achievements to prove. They cheated the people of Karnataka and now they are trying to escape from this sin by spreading lies,”
He further said, “Whereas Modi-led union government undertook lot of developmental works for Karnataka. The people of this state experienced Modi government’s slogan 'Vikas’. So now they want BJP government in the state. Our party has already released the list of development works and grants given by the union government to Karnataka. But Siddaramaiah is not yet ready to release the details of utilization of central fund in state. So now we want to ask Rahul Gandhi about it and we have put forward 10 questions to him.”
The questions are:
Why Karnataka under Congress rule has become a state appeasing farmers' suicide?
When the farmers of Dakshina Kannada came to Bengaluru why did Siddaramaiah government ordered lathi charge? Why he did not show any interest to listen to them?
Union government released Rs 5,456 crore for drought affected areas of Karnataka. Where has this grant gone? Why Siddaramaiah government did not utilize this money for irrigation projects?
Since you wanted to ease the traffic in Bengaluru, why did your governmend spent money which is more than the estimated budget on road projects of Bengaluru, especially one 10 km road which costs more than the cost of Mangalyaan?
Why did your government stop the award winning 'Sakala project ' and weaken the Lokayukta?
Eight hundred-plus Dalit women raped in Karnataka. Hundreds of women's killed and thousands of attacked by anti-socials. Why didn't you come to Karnataka with candlelight march?
Why are there appeasement programmes for release of PFI, SDPI and KFD members? What is the treaty between your government and these anti-nationals?
Daily 14 infants die in Karnataka. The government hospitals are lacking modern equipment and sufficient staff. The government schools are under threat of closing because of shortage of staff. There are irregularities in public sector. Why you are mum on these issues?
In the last four years, the union government did a revolutionary progress in construction of toilets, LPG connections, solar projects, and irrigation facilities. But why Siddaramaiah government is not up to the mark in these projects? Why is the Congress government not performing?
You do not trust the Indian judiciary, PMO office, Reserve Bank, Human Rights Commission etc. Do you trust your own government in Karnataka which has not performed in last five years?
