Karkala: Expletives hurled on pharmacist for asking trainee girl to work on holidays

Karkala, Apr 25: The pharmacist of Nandalike Primary Health Center here, has lodged a complaint with rural police station here against Ashok Kamath for hurling expletives and obstructing him from performing his duties.

Sudhaker works as a pharmacist at Nandalike Primary Health Center. Accused Ashok Kumar arrived at the center with his wife and children on April 22 at about 10.30 am and rushed to the room of the medical officer. When Sudhaker questioned his action, Ashok Kumar said that his daughter was asked to come for training to the hospital and asked if she has to come to work on holidays too. While Sudhaker explained that she should come for duty even on holidays, Ashok Kamath has allegedly insulted Sudhaker, hurling expletives on him and obstructing him from performing his duties. A complaint is registered at the rural police station here.

    @sri-elder karkala,it is wrong to say working on holidays is wrong.In Health Dept. there is no holidays .One has to work when needed.Sickness doesnt see when is holidays or feast.And when young is ,can collect some experience.Even when father thinks it is wrong,thats not the way to be energetic and attack.It looks as if we are going back to forest mans age.Not like educated.
