Celta Vigo hold Valencia in La Liga clash

Vigo (Spain), Apr 22 (IANS): Valencia tied 1-1 with Celta Vigo in a Spanish top division football tie here, their third straight match without a win.

While the first half of Saturday night's La Liga match remained scoreless, the second half saw Valencia forward Santi Mina lead with a goal in the 59th minute, reports Efe news agency.

However, Celta quickly responded four minutes later with a goal from forward Maximiliano Gonzalez.

Valencia is currently in fourth place in the La Liga table with 66 points, two points behind defending champion Real Madrid, while Celta Vigo is in 10th place with 45 points.
