Mangaluru: United Christian Association helps needy family renovate house

Mangaluru, Apr 11: The parish priest of Ranipura church blessed the renovated house of Robert Irene here at Santhosh Nagara, Ullal, on April 8. The renovated house was at the cost of Rs 2 lac under the aegis of United Christian Association (UCA), Ranipura unit.

UCA Ranipura unit handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 to Rony Coelho as a helping hand for constructing his house and also, a gas stove to Robert Irene.

UCA unit president Alban Menezes was felicitated on the occasion for donating Rs 2 lac to renovate the house.

The director of Rishivana Fr Alfred Menezes, UCA unit president Alban Menezes, vice-president Sylvester D’Souza, and Vardo division president Pascal Paul Lobo were present.

Ranipura division president Herald Lobo welcomed the gathering, treasurer Nelson D’Souza rendered the vote of thanks and secretary Lavina Gretta D’Souza compered the programme.
