Beltangady: 18-year-old dies after unidentified vehicle rams into bike

Beltangady, Mar 19: A youngster was crushed to death in an accident at Aladka near Aladangady here on Monday March 19 evening.

The deceased has been identified as Suchin (18), son of Sudhakar Hegde, a resident of Hosmar.

It is learnt that an unidentified vehicle rammed into Suchin's two-wheeler.

A critically injured Suchin was rushed to a hospital in Beltangady, after which he was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment. However, he breathed his last on the way.

The body was later shifted to the mortuary in Beltangady hospital.

    Very sad .Heartfelt sympathy to the family.Other side I say parents had to think to give a bike to a only 18years old boy.Was it really needed?

    Authorities must watch over it when the vehicles hit and run ...over speed... some strict/actions laws would be useful ... otherwise who will bring back precious lives ... heart wrenching it is ...
