Mangaluru, Jan 21: JD(S) national president and former Prime Minister Deve Gowda on Sunday January 21 visited the residence of Deepak Rao who was hacked to death at Katipalla on January 3. He also visited the house of Basheer who was murdered the same night in retaliation.

The former Prime Minister met Deepak's family and expressed his sympathies. He also assured them of extending financial assistance.

JD(S) state vice-president B M Farooq who accompanied him told him about the family's condition. Deve Gowda expressed his pain at the irreplaceable loss suffered by Deepak's mother Prema and discussed with her the developments in the murder case so far.

"I could not visit you when the incident happened. We will do everything we possibly can to help, not only by expressing our pain but also contributing financially through the party leaders. I pray that God gives you the strength to overcome your grief," Deve Gowda told Deepak's mother.

Thereafter, Deve Gowda participated in a programme at Mulky, and then proceeded to Basheer's house at Akashbhavan in the city.

At Basheer's house too, the JD(S) supremo expressed condolences to the family. He assured Basheer's son that he would be provided a job at a good company and also collected his resume for the purpose.

B M Farooq, M B Sadashiv, Abdul Kunhi, Akshit Suvarna, Vasanth Poojary and other JD(S) leaders and members were present.

Oh what a joke. I came to know about an incident from my neighbour a few years ago. This same gentleman Deve Gowda did nothing to a youngster who accidentally collided his scooter with Gowda's car, some 10 years back, in Padmanabha nagar, Gowda's backyard. Gowda's goon's went to that youth's house and demanded ransom for repairing Gowda's car. That youngster was tortoured so much that he had to commit suicide. Now you see Gowda coming to Mangalore to wipe someone's tears. All fake. Just eyeing on upcoming elections.

If Deve Gowda & other politicians talked about the Popular Front murder culture spreading in Karnataka these murders would not have happened in Karnataka. Now siddaramayya wants SDPI/Popular front as poll allies, which shows politicians will align with any saitan. If politicians of all hue take a decision POLITICAL Jihadi murders will not be accepted by the society and the murderers whichever party they belong to will be isolated and jailed there would be fear among the murderers to take the knife and bomb

Since 4 years none of the politicians came to Mangalore,Now as the elections are coming near they now know that there is one taluk called mangalore in the state of karnataka.
    How cheap these politicians are.
Since past 4 years what good have they done to Mangalore ?

We see progress only when Elections come near.

I am not going to Vote anyone this time. All that we have got is Chombu.Even the Chombu is of no use now as the forest and all the open land has been acquired by these important people of our country.

#NOTA (NO BJP/CONGRESS/JDS) All are one with different faces.Last 10 Years they all showed their real corrupt faces. This election shud be the end for all.I hope our some good person rule our state rater than DUMB fellows like whom we saw in last 10 years.

This happens only during elections. Post election they will not even bother to visit their own constituency. Politicians are responsible for the death of these innocent common men. People like anath Kumar Hegde, owaisi, thogadia, yogi, are responsible by thier hate speech.
