Kotak Mahindra Bank logs 20 per cent growth in net profit


Mumbai, Jan 19 (IANS): Private sector Kotak Mahindra Bank on Friday said it closed the quarter ended on December 31, 2017 with 20 per cent growth in its net profit over the corresponding period the previous fiscal.

In a regulatory filing in BSE, the bank said that on a standalone basis it had posted a net profit of Rs 1,053.21 crore, up from Rs 879.76 crore logged during same period in 2016.

The bank's total income for the period under review was Rs 6,049.02 crore, up from Rs 5,377.83 crore earned in Q3 of FY17.

The bank's net interest income for the period under review was Rs 2,394 crore, up from Rs 2,050 crore in Q3 of FY17.
