Vasco, Dec 26 (TOI): Panchayat minister Mauvin Godinho on Sunday said that the process for regularising old houses within panchayat jurisdictions will begin from January. "Panchayats have given water and electricity connections, so it's unfair to deny regularisation of these houses. But new illegal constructions will be considered," he said. From January, illegal structures will receive a token, he said, adding that panchayats are in the process of identifying these houses.
