Belagavi, Nov 21: D K Shivakumar (DKS), minister of energy, slapped the hand of a youth who tried to take a selfie with him when the minster was speaking to the journalists.

The incident took place on Monday, November 20.

DKS was speaking to the media after participating in the programme of 'International Children Rights Day' at Shaikh College here. A youth, who was standing beside him, tried to click a selfie at that time.

DKS who got angry at the gesture of the youth slapped his hand due to which his mobile phone fell down. The guy escaped from the scene immediately.

    A very bad habit of indians is to raise hands against others ,before one talks or doesnt like.And this minister did it ,shows he has no manners and no respect towards his voters.Next year he should think one vote is lesser ,which might make him go to pension.The boy should have asked in the first place,before taking foto.well afterall ministers are like film stars , public people,Govt.servents,They shouldnt complain when one comes to take foto ,or eager to meet.unless they do nonsense,or stupid comments.But raising a hand is a offensive.we tell shouldnt hit children,but why does a minister against his public? Suppose his mobile has spoiled ,minister should pay for it.

    Nothing wrong in it. The youth should have had the manners to ask for a selfie. Selfie is a killer amongst youth and they go to any extent for a Selfie. Whatever was the motive behind DKS's move, the end was right. Most importantly, It was no slap. The youth seem to be over the edge when DKS just pushes his hand away and the youth loses balance.

    Well done DKS. The youth deserves it. Those who think dirty politicians and celebrities are God, they deserve this type of treatment. The stinking dirty politicians are supposed to be our servants and we make them hero even though they treat us as slaves, loot us and build their corrupt empire.     Congress is protecting these kind of people and theres no justice here. If you belong to congress you are relieved./saved . Another excuse given by congress is that BJP also has such people so its all fine .
    Congress has failed in all fronts in last 4 years .(1)If you see the roads Of Bangalore commercial street one has to feel pity on government (its beyond imagination). Theres no place to walk on commercial street for pedestrains and vehicles pass very closely to pedestrains . (2)Due to poor conditions on roads many people Died during rainy season in bangalore recently . (3)Siddu has introduced free food schemes which makes people lazy . Tax Paid by Hardworking poor citizens used by congress to make people lazy ( Free food is required for deserving poor people who has no means of earning whereas congress is giving free food keeping in view of Elections votes).(4) Free transport also waste tax payers money .( Rather give free transport for Deserving people who have no means to pay for transport). (5)As last minute effort congress is taking help of Filthy rich people to attract Votes . (6) Congress did not nothing for farmers in 1st 4 years. Many farmers have died in rural areas. Just before elections Siddu is trying pacifing farmes by waiving loans (This means next government will be burdended heavily ) .All in all a miserable performance by Congress .

    dear Govind, not only in Bangalore... across Karnataka. We were in Mangalore recently.... OMG. Roads have take a big time hit. You can't drive. luxury cars ( usually with low ground clearance ) are touching the road and getting hit everywhere. big junctions like Panambur, Bikampady.... all are at worst condition... also I heard lot of day light murders.... looting... rowdism... so whole low and order has taken a bit time hit.... still this congress govt didn't learn a lesson and not ready to accept the mistake also. Every where very very arrogant responses, arrogant behaviours... heights... so net election... as some one said.. all will be behind bars definitely.

    Do you know the consequence of attacking an on duty IT officer ? Whenever IT raid takes place, they will take the help of local police. In this case since he was the part of the Govt which controls the state police, they have used central forces.

    Dear Anirudh,

    I know the law of the land & IT act, rules, laws, by laws, regulations & procedures. IT department is 100% correct in carrying out its own duty. Also, the government servants including police & administrative machinery.

    But, have you seen the one sided use of IT, CBI & other administrative machinery against only opposition & political which hunt ? Do it against all corrupt from any party without bias. Then you get respect & recognition. Else, it is nothing but misuse of power. One sided witch hunt will always backfire sooner or later.

    By the way I presume you are aware how IT raid cases end up with little gain to government with legal challenge by the person/s raided, "adjustment' of figures to mitigate liability and for mutual benefit for the parties involved. You can check this practically with tax consultants, auditors & IT guys. By the way, are you aware of size of corruption in IT department ?

    Ask any guy who got IT notice & probed.

    If you know the rules you need not worry. Because, in our country people pay only taxes without any social security. Will our government takes care of us if we are out of job/business ??? Answer is a big "No".

    When governments trust & take care of its citizens, people will also trust & take care of the government. Fact is a fact. You like it or not.
