Mangaluru: Creative talents on display at Kobe Sizzlers’ ‘Drawing Carnival’

Mangaluru, Nov 16: Kobe Sizzlers here successfully conducted Children’s Day special drawing competition ‘Drawing Carnival’ at Parin Towers, Collectors Gate, Balmatta on November 14.

Lots of people gathered at the venue to witness the mega event as 100 kids participated from over 20 schools across Mangaluru to win a grand prize of Rs 3,000 worth Kobe Sizzlers dine-in vouchers, along with a host of other prizes and trophies. Apart from that, all the participants received participation certificate.

The event had face painting, spot games and live interaction which both the parents and kids actively participated.

The winners were judged by Suresh K Pandavarakallu, director of Shree Chakrapani School of Arts.

The awards were handed over by the chief guest Maruthi Nayak, circle inspector of Kadri police station. Maruthi Nayak while addressing the participants and their parents said, “I am very happy that Kobe Sizzlers is holding such events which will help the children to showcase their talents and their creative instincts.”

The winners of the group are as follows:

Group A

1st winner - Sinchana, 3rd Std - St Aloysius School

2nd winner - Akshaj 3rd Std - Nitk School

3rd winner - Anvith H 3rd Std - Canara Urwa

Group B

1st winner - Ojasvi 5th Std - St Aloysius School

2nd winner - Ayush Y 6th Std - Canara School

3rd winner - Akash 6th Std - Chinmaya High School

Group C

1st winner Dheergha M 10th Std - Canara High School

2nd winner - Atul Shet 10th Std - Canara High School

3rd winner - Ananya H 8th Std - Canara Urwa

The venue was packed and witnessed participants who were as young as five to as old as 16. The winners were overwhelmed and said, “We really look forward to more such exciting events to be conducted by Kobe Sizzlers in future.”

Haris Ebrahim, managing partner of Diners Factory said, “The turnout was massive and we really enjoyed the way the event was conducted. Personally, I was really excited with the artwork the kids showcased and the massive support shown by their parents.”

Raneesh Joseph, partner of Diners Factory and managing director of Farmbag said, “We loved the energy and support we received from everyone. We will definitely organize more innovative events for you all.”
