M'luru: Srinivas Institute of Technology MBA dept hosts national level fest Sambhavaami

Mangaluru, Oct 30: A two day national level management fest Shriyans-2017 'SAMBHAVAAMI' was organized by the MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil here on October 26 and 27.

A total of 24 teams from 20 different MBA colleges participated in the fest. Ignatius Navil Noronha, HOD department of commerce, Canara College, Mangaluru, was the chief guest at the valedictory function. He distributed cash prizes, trophies and certificates to the winners of the various colleges.



The overall winner in the event was SDM PG centre, Mangaluru, overall runners up were AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru.

The best manager was won by a student of AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the marketing event the first position went to St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru and second position was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the finance event first position went to St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru and second position was secured by University college Hampankatta, Mangaluru. In the HR event first position went to SDM PG centre, Mangaluru and second position was secured by AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the business quiz event the first position went to Mangalore University Konaje and second position was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the best management team, SDM PG centre, Mangaluru, secured the first place. The ice breaking event was won by SDM College, Ujire.

The function was presided over by Dr Srinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Prof Hariprakash U P, HOD of MBA department, prof Krishna Shenoy, staff coordinator, Mohammad Mansoor, student coordinator of the management fest were present on the occasion. Shruthi and Nidha Ayesha were the masters of ceremony on the occasion.
