Bengaluru: Tipu Jayanti will spell doom for Congress, says BJP – protests planned

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Oct 24: “The Tipu Jayanti will spell doom for the Congress government in the 2018 polls,” said BJP Yuva Morcha state president and Member of Parliament Pratap Simha.

He was speaking in a state-level convention organised by the Anti-Tipu Sultan Jayanti Forum here.

“There was a fire mishap on the sets of a serial on Tipu Sultan that filmmaker Sanjay Khan was doing. Businessman Vijay Mallya, who bought Tipu Sultan’s sword, lost his business. Siddaramaiah is celebrating Tipu Sultan and his political empire too will fall similarly,” Simha added.

From October 25 to November 10, the Anti-Tipu Sultan Jayanti Forum will stage protests and rallies, its convenor Addanda Kariappa said.

Meanwhile, the Congress defended the Tipu Jayanti. “Tipu Sultan was a patriot. No one can change history,” former Union Minister C K Jaffer Sharief said. “BJP leaders are opposing Tipu Jayanti to appease a few people,” he said.

KPCC president G Parameshwara hit out at BJP by saying “Their opposition only shows their mentality.”

The Congress recently released pictures of BJP leaders participating in a Tipu Sultan Jayanti in the past years, accusing them of double standards.

Tipu Sultan Jayanti will be celebrated on November 10 in the state.

    He is speaking like AdiVasi.

For sure he will loose his place in Mysore, today he is breathing the air from the same region which was protected britishers and for which Tippu Sultan sacrificied many things incudling his life.

But the communal eyes of this guy wants to take political benefit as elections are nearing.

But SidduSir is doing great and one of the best CM, he recently got best CM award as well.

Whole karnataka is with Siddu Sir, ignore this pratab Adivasi joker.

Why are we giving a hype to Tippu Jayanti?? So far for many years there was no propaganda or hype on TIPU Jayanti, which would have been happening but without any big noise. Suddenly, why we need to do something which is not essential?? Let us concentrate on good governance, citizen needs and common priorities. Lets use our quality time in productive ways rather than creating controversies. Those who want to celebrate, let them, those who dont want to be a part, be involved in some productive work. Simply by making protests and bunds, common man only suffers the loss. Therefore, be a nationalist by avoiding all sorts of non productive and destructive actions on our own future.

You are absolutely right. this is not much of our concern...very very least bothered about Tippu Jayanti...

In short, BJP & RSS making Tippu very famous...now all Muslims started reading more about Tippu & apply his good deeds in real life..

Very soon, Simha will say " EID celebrations not allowed "....Cheap mentality ...let us spread peace instead of evil...
