Udupi: Muhurat of Kannada film ‘Anukta’ to be held on Oct 11

Udupi, Oct 10: The muhurat of Deyi Productions’ Kannada film ‘Anukta’ will be held at Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Moodabettu Katpady here on October 11, informed the film’s director Ashwath Samuel.

Addressing mediapersons on Monday, October 9, he said, “The film is full of suspense and thrill which will keep the auidince on the edge of their seats. The budget of the film is not yet decided. There will be four songs in the film. Shooting will be held in Mudigere, Madikeri, Hebri, Brahmavar, Mangaluru and around Udupi city.”

Dr Ravindranatha Shetty, Ambadibettu will preside the muhurat function. Vedamurthi Puttur Sri Hayavadana Thantri will perform the puja on the occasion.

Pramod Madhwaraj, district in-charge and state minister for fisheries, youth empowerment and sports, Shobha Karandlaje, MP, Udupi-Chikmagaluru, Vinay Kumar Sorake, former minister and MLA, Kaup, and Hemanth Nimbelkar,(IPS) IGP Western Range will be the guests.

K M Ballali, president, Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Moodabettu, Juliet Veera D'Souza, president, Katapadi Grama Panchayat, Satish Shetty Pattla, Yakshadhruva Pattla Foundation, Kishan Hegde, president, Udupi District Co-operative Union, Devdas Kapikad, film producer and director, Praveen Kumar Konchady, film Producer, Prakash Pandeshwar, film producer, Kishore D Shetty, film producer, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, film producer and director, Pammi Kodialbail, film producer, Dhanraj, film producer, Sarvothama Shetty, Convener Karnataka Sangha, Abu Dhabi, Harish Sherigar, film producer, MD Acme Groups, Satish Poojary, president, Billawas Dubai, Joseph Mathias, businessman, Dubai, Walter Nandelike, editor-in-chief and managing director of Daijiworld Media, Leelaksha B Karkera, MD, Namma Kudla, Dr Shivacharan Shetty, MD, Namma TV, Ashok Suvarne, president, Shri Vishwanatha Kshetra Katapadi, Francis J Pinto, businessman, Mangaluru, Randhir, MD, Vardaman Hotels, Mangaluru, and Rajesh Brahmavara, president of Tulu movie Producers’ Association will also participate in the muhurat.

Harish Bangera and Ashok Suvarna were present during the press meet.

Young entrepreneur from Dubai, Harish Bangera, will produce the film. The story of the film is written by Santhosh Kumar Konchady and Karthik Attavar. Director Ashwath Samuel has written screenplay and Kiran Shetty and Sharma have penned down the dialogues. Manohar Joshi will handle the cinematography.

Popular music director Nobin Paul will compose music for the film. Keertan Bhandary has written lyrics.

'Ondu Motteya Kathe' fame M Vishwa will handle editing.

Karthik Attavar will play the lead role. He has acted popular in serials like ‘Yashodhe’, ‘Lavlavike’ and shows like ‘Dancing Star’.

Sangeeta Bhat will be seen as the lead actress, after the release of her successful film, 'Yeradane Sala'. She is also played lead roles in films like 'Dayavittu Gamanisi', 'Alidu Ulidavaru'.

Well-know villain and multilingual actor Sampath Raj will play a villain’s character in the film.

Famous Kannada film actress Anu Prabhakar will be seen in a special character.

Kannada serial 'Lakshmi Baramma' lead actress Lakshmi S and other artistes namely Sidlingu Shridhar, Usha Bhandary, Anil Ninasam, Roshan Shetty, Chidananda Poojary, Deepti Saliam will entertain the audience.
