Bengaluru: Cong gets poll ready with 'Mane-Manege Congress' campaign from Sep 23

From Our Special Correspondent
Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Sep 21: If the opposition BJP has launched Vistarak programme as part of its preparations for the ensuing assembly elections in the State, the ruling Congress party in Karnataka has planned its own 'Mane-Manege Congress' (Congress for every home) in all the 224 assembly constituencies in State from Saturday September 23.

The campaign with the catchy Kannada slogan, Mane-Manege Congress, coined by KPCC Vice President B L Shankar will be launched with the Mahadevapura assembly constituency in the City and simultaneously in all the 224 assembly constituencies in the State.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal will attend the programme in Bengaluru.

Under the ‘Mane-Manege Congress’ campaign, a 30-page booklet would be given to each household at the booth level.

This State-wide campaign will end on October 15.

The booklet contains information on development programmes undertaken by the Siddaramaiah government in the last four years.

The campaign aims at gradually transforming the Congress from being a mass-based party to a cadre-based one with active participation of booth-level agents.

In the run-up to the 2013 polls, the Congress had launched many programmes such as:

- Congressina Nadige Janara Balige,
- Congressina Nadige Krishneya Kadege,
- Congressige Banni Badalavane Thanni

to highlight what they called bad governance of the previous BJP regime.

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dr G. Parameshwara said the Congress has decided to appoint 54,000 booth-level agents covering all 224 Assembly constituencies in order to spread the party’s message and inform people of the achievements of the Siddaramaiah and UPA governments.

The party agents will not only educate people on the achievements of the government in the State, but also give feedback to the party on what people think, he said.

The Congress slogan should be 'Mane-Manege Janara Sevage 'would be appropriate. Though Congress ruling under CM Siddaramaiah is above average it is rated. According to a survey of 12,000 people across the country conducted by India Today and Cicero, Siddaramaiah has been rated third best chief minister, in terms of the number of people of his state who voted for him. In his term E-Mandi and Shaadi bhagya are one of the best policies which centers Prime Minister has relaunched in different names.
The Congress must have achived better results if the government would have set some goals and efficiency improved. The party would have improved political fortune in three coastal districts if had seriously pursued the cases against NAMO founder and cow Swami. Another setback is Kalburgi case not cracking which later resulted in Gauri Lankesh murder.
Here are the some do's and don'ts for Congress for the coming assembly election'
    1. Do not give tickets to the criminals and corrupt politicians.
    2. Take the achievements to the people in your tenure.
    3. Do not mudsling Prime Minister Modi which may turn into positive campaign for BJP.
4.Do not respond to the BJP questions in public. If they ask question counter question the BJP's promises made in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
    5. As elections approaching their will be more hatred in social media. Identify, block and punish the group admin for the trolls.
    6. There is chances of Samajotsava, Gau raksha rallies or even cow heads being placed in temple to create communal disturbance. Increase the night beats to all sensitive religious places.
7.Do not do any ribbon cutting for the sake vote.Instead show the achievements to citizens.
    8. Bring the failure of BJP and its promises made in the election manifesto.
    9. No religious talk in the election rallies. strictly nation first, region next and its citizens should be priorities.
    10. My worst fear will be some false flag in the name terror will be orchestrated by fanatics.

Arnab shouted more that he was a presence in Gujarat during the riots and Rajdeep of Indian Today asked Arnab to apologise for airing lies in his Republic T.V.

ONE DAY CHAAIWAALA ALSO WILL APOLOGISE FOR MISLEADING HIS BHAKTS.

IN KARNATAKA BJP HAS NO CHANCE.

Politics is scoundrels play. All parties are some.None have real concern for people.Every leader wish to become important and mint money by hook or crook.I sincerely wish that no party should get absolute majority.Only coilation govt with common minimum programme can give some what better rule.. By doing so Karnataka people can send a caution to centre also.
