Mangaluru: Ministers turn mute spectators for war of words between Congress leaders

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 21: At a programme held in the Congress office here in which state home minister, Ramalinga Reddy, participated, as soon as the minster concluded his address and was about to leave the office, verbal friction broke out between Congress leaders, Chandraprakash Shetty Thumbe, a zilla panchayat member, and former MLA, K Vijayakumar Shetty.

Chandraprakash angrily upbraided Vijayakumar Shetty for occupying the dais after speaking against party leaders recently. He wanted to know what moral right he has to get seated in the dais after issuing statements criticizing minister, B Ramanath Rai. In response, Vijayakumar Shetty said he does not need anyone's permission to come to the party office and that he does not need lessons on morality from anyone. He also reminded that he has been with the Congress since very long.

Although ministers, B Ramanath Rai and Ramalinga Reddy, were witnesses to this exchange of angry words, they kept quiet without getting involved with the arguments or reacting to it.

If Congress does not expel Janardhana Poojary and Vijayakumar Shetty, the Congress will be defeated, Poojari, who speaks of supporting the BJP., Poojary has given Congress all the chance but Poojari these days speaks against of Congress, If the party silences about all this, The worker will lose.
