Udupi, Sep 18: An excellent opportunity has just opened up for budding photographers with Heavens of Karnataka's World Tourism Day Photography contest. The photography competition is themed Karnataka Tourism (landscape) and is open to everyone, with no age bar. Entry will be free of charge and registrations will close on Saturday, September 23.
The photography competition welcomes diverse images of tourist places in Karnataka. It is a wonderful way of earning returns on the time and other investments that go into perfecting the hobby.
It also serves as an incredible platform for photographers to display their skills to thousands of spectators around the globe. Participants need only to upload their pictures and mail them to heavensofkarnataka@gmail.com.
Rules:
• Four photos allowed per entry
• Minimum image size 1920 X 1080 pixels
• Photos with watermark and manipulated elements will be rejected
• While mailing your entries to heavensofkarnataka@gmail.com, details such as your name, location, contact number and a brief description about the photograph must be included
• Judges' decision will be final
Results will be announced on Wednesday, September 27.
The competition is held in association with Daijiworld 24x7 Udupi. Daijiworld.com will be the media partner for the event.
About Heavens of Karnataka
The tourism website was launched by a few like-minded youth of Udupi, to promote tourist places in Karnataka. There exist hundreds of tourist locations in Karnataka, but all may not be known to the public due lack of publicity. The website hus provides information of more than a hundred different tourist places along with map, history of the place, its importance, and local tourist destinations around. The website is designed considering four divisions namely Mysuru, Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Udupi.
Heavens of Karnataka is the first private and professionally designed tourism website in the state.
