The secret is to regard our bodies as beautiful gifts from God, miracles of His handiwork, cchosen by Him to be His living temples on earth and to be glorified forever in heaven. Modesty in a woman is the sign that Jesus Christ dwells in her heart. “Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious” (I Peter 3:3-4). “Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised” (Proverbs 31:30). "Know you not, that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  But if any man violate the temple of God, him shall God destroy.  For the temple of God is holy, which you are" (1 Corinthians 3:16,17).
