Mangaluru, Sep 18: In a recently concluded committee meeting, Vincent Pereira has been elected as president of Ferarites for the period 2017-2019. He is currently the chairperson of Aloysian Alumni (2017-2018).
Vincent was instrumental in successfully organizing alumni event held in Feb 2017. Earlier, Vincent had served as president of Ferarites during the period 2007-2011, vice president of SMKC-Dubai (2009-2010) and as chairperson of Ferarites-Global (2013) as part of centenary celebrations of SFX church, Ferar.

Ferarites is an association of Ferar parishioners actively involved in bringing together all parishioners, conducts events from time to time in support of good cause. Ample work has been done since its inception in 2007 for the benefit of economically weak and especially setting up of Ferarites education fund for Rs 10 Lacs at St Frances Xavier Church, Ferar supporting needy students.
Vice president Lawrence has earlier served as president of Ferarites during the period 2013-2015
Outgoing president, Norbert Sequeira thanked committee members for their support during his tenure and wished the new committee all the best.
