what a system... stupid... 4 cases took 8 + years to prove the guilty. ... still so many cases pending.. by the time all cases investigation gets over and final verdict he will be no more I guess. Just held proven in 1 case , declared death punishment.... just execute and close... why the hell all the cases to be investigated... what non sense.

Judge Saab….is it necessary to carry out court trials for other offences since he has been already awarded death penalty for other cases in earlier occasions??? Conclude the first sentence so that time, money and efforts of various personnel can be avoided… Only Lawyers will not be happy!!!

My first thought is why is he still alive? When a man killed so many women without any heart and mercy ,to come to their money and gold,he too should be also given the same .Why so much delay and waste of money and time on him ,holding cases over cases in court? He deserves the same, let him too taste it how it is.

    Frau Rita,
This guy has been charged with 20 separate murders; and hence each of the murder cases need to be tried separately.
While he has been found guilty in 4 of them, there are another 16 cases which needs to be tried and the guilt needs to be determined by the judiciary. If he is executed right now, then all the pending cases would be abated.
Don’t you think the family of the remaining 16 women deserve to know the truth behind the murder of their loved ones? Don’t they need a closure?
Mohan is already on death row and he is already leading a secluded solitary life inside the prison walls. He is not in a position to commit any further crimes and he himself might in all likelihood be yawning for death instead of those solitary confinements.
So, why are you so thirsty for his blood? What exactly is to be gained by executing him now rather than wait till all the remaining 16 cases are completed?

Buy the time all 16 pending murder cases are trialed he might reach to his natural death might be still 1 or 2 cases be pending at the time of his death due to old age or some disease. Many of the times Indian judiciary system is heaven for criminals.

Yes, there are grave flaws in Indian judicial process. But why are you holding Mohan responsible for it?

And with regards to your comment on death row being a “heaven” – please have some basic understating of the conditions in which death row convicts are incarcerated in Indian prisons. Please google National Law University’s research on death penalty in India; or read the SC judgement in 2014 commuting death sentence of several convicts for delay in execution. Please go through them in detail and then decide if it is heaven or hell.

Either way, why are you so thirsty for his blood? He is already in prison for several years and he has no ability to commit those grave crimes any further. In your eagerness to see his dead body, you are prepared to leave the question mark over the culpability of remaining 16 murders unanswered??

He is still alive! There is a biggest loop hole in our judiciary system. Please hurry up in his hanging and finishing. After 2 years his advocate may start to ask for clean chit so that he can enter politics.
