Kasargod: Two-and-half-year-old boy who went missing from home found dead

Kasargod, Sep 4: A two-and-half year old boy who went missing from his house at Chengala in the outskirts of the town on Sunday evening has been found dead after a day on Monday, September 4.

The deceased boy has been identified as Saiban, son of Ahmed Kabeer-Ruksana couple from Chengala Cherur.

The boy had disappeared all of a sudden under mysterious circumstances after he was seen playing in the courtyard.

The family members and locals searched for the boy on Sunday evening and when they failed asked the police personnel and firemen for help.

After they did not find the boy in the village, they started searching in the local Chandragiri rivulet flowing adjacent to the house. The dead body was found in the four kilometres away from the house of the deceased.

Local MLA, N A Nellikunnu, deputy superintendent of police, M V Sukumaran, tahasildar, Narayanan and others had visited the spot and had guided the search operations earlier.

    Very sad.Water ,fire and sharp weapons attracts children like no other play s.So should be very careful who lives near rivers,or wells etc.when they are underaged ,shouldnt leave them without supervision.whether it is a foul play or accidentally is not sure,hope police will find out soon.Heartfelt sympathy to the parents.For them a child is lost which can tbe replaced by any other means.May the soul of this angel be with angels and rest in peace.
