Bengaluru: Yeddy seeks 10 days to appear before ACB in land denotification case

Bengaluru, Aug 19: A day after thundering his willingness to face even a hundred 'false' land denotifications cases, State BJP President and former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Saturday sought 10 days to appear before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in fake land de-notification case.

In a letter to ACB Investigation officer, the BJP leader said he needs to gather all the facts mentioned in the case.

"I am making efforts to get all the necessary details regarding the above mentioned case from various Government Departments under RTI Act," Yeddyurappa said in the letter.

Yeddyurappa also added that he got the notice just two days ago.

"Only two days period is intervening from the date of the Notice to the date of appearance," he said in the letter.
ACB has already registered two FIRs on Thursday against BJP leader in a case of "fake de-notification" of 250 acres of land.

The preliminary enquiry held by the ACB revealed that as Chief Minister, Yeddyurappa had dropped the vast extent of land from preliminary notification allowing various bulk land owners to get change of land use.

In 2008, the BDA had issued preliminary notification to acquire 3,546 acres in 17 villages under three taluks of Hesaraghatta, Yelahanka and Bengaluru Additional North.

Later, between 2008 and 2011, the State Government issued 20 orders dropping the acquisition when there was no final notification.

The preliminary enquiry revealed that the applications seeking de-notification were filed in the Urban Development Department and processed on a fast track due to the intervention of the Chief Minister.

In 2014, the entire acquisition process got lapsed as there was no final notification.

Based on the writ petition filed by some original land owners, the High Court of Karnataka also declared the preliminary notification as ‘`lapsed."

Karnataka BJP and Yeddy are trying desperately to discredit the investigation using a bureaucrat's claim that he was forced to testify against Yeddy. Joke is that the bureaucrat has no evidence in the form of any recording or video or eye witness for his claim. The bureaucrat could be afraid that along with Yeddy he may himself get implicated for bending the rules for Yeddy. BJP friendly media section are screaming on TV channels " sensational twist to Yeddy case" but nobody is listening due to Yeddy being so thickly coated with corruption allegations.

In the final analysis whole idea must have come from Daku but what is the use of a good plan by Daku if the people involved cannot implement it efficiently ?

The BJP made a wrong chioce and a Big Political Blunder in appointing Yeddy to lead the BJP for the next elections. He is past 70 years and his past tenure will be remembered for being the first Chief Minister of Karnataka to spend time in jail while holding office. This stigma will haunt the BJP and Mr Yeddy during the next state elections.

The whole India knows that Karnataka had the biggest Naataka during last BJP Government and CM chair was shared by 3 people within 36 Months. I dont understand how Amit Shah is talking so shameless while he was on a visit to Bangalore. Amit Shah is famous for altering evidence and Eddi is trying to follow his footsteps.
Amit Shah and Eddi both think that Karnataka voters will be bought by newly printed undersized new 500 value new notes.

Yeddy why are you worried and why do you want 10 days to appear before ACB, you are a honest person you are not corrupt? Just prove them you have nothing to do with land "fake de-notification" or you need 10 days to hide the truth?

These are the exceptional worthwhile credentials of BJP's choicest, blemish less, Patriotic, staunch Religious, vegetarian CM candidate for Karnataka.

Just yesterday this past record holder Qaidi No. 10364 wanted to expose Siddu.

Now, does he have moral right to expose anyone after ACB's cordial invitation to him.
