Mamata daydreaming about dislodging Modi: Javadekar

Kolkata, Jul 22 (IANS): Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday lambasted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her call to "dislodge" Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused her of "disturbing" communal harmony.

"Her campaign to dislodge Modiji... Everybody can daydream but that is not going to happen. A non-existent unity can't give us a challenge. Modi is connected to the poor, all sections of society. We are getting stronger by the day," Javadekar said here on the sidelines of an event.

On Friday at the Martyr's Day Trinamool Congress rally, Banerjee slammed the Centre's ruling BJP, accusing it of indulging in "massive corruption" and failure on all fronts.

She pledged to remove it from power in the next general elections.

Javadekar said Banerjee's speech highlighted her "frustration."

"Her desperation and frustration was palpable. She has only one agenda - to speak against BJP and Modi. People are with us. Even in Bengal a growing number of people are coming and speaking to BJP. So that's the real cause of worry for her, and that was palpable yesterday," he said.

"I am charging that Communists and Mamata's rule is no different because both are not really trying to develop the state. They are distributing poverty only, not prosperity," he said.

He alleged that Banerjee was creating communal discord.

"It is a worrisome feature of her politics, especially the last few months. She is dividing society, dividing communities. It is unacceptable. In democracy, communal harmony is the essence and that is getting disturbed," he added.

Javedekar : late Pramod majan had the same confidence of Shining India during Mr. Vajpayee time and you know what the results were after the general election. So don't underestimate Indians, they cannot be fooled a second time.

With due respect Mr. Javdekar BJP also did the same to assume power. Give all fake promises and implicate the Govt. of the day and play religious card and with polarization you the BJP assumed the power in Centre. So you are right she is daydreaming and every dream one day will be a reality. Dear Sir don't be overconfident every action there will be equal reaction. Minority bashing will not bear fruit every time. Respect and give equal rights to all Indians irrespective of what religion they follow. You and your follower cannot be blood thirsty of minorities always.

At present Didi is the only Person who can take Feku Maharaj head on and India can believe in her not like opportunist Nitish. If she make Mahaghatabandan with Congress and CPI in Bengal, Bharatiya Juumla Party can make "India's Invention" in their name (ZERO "0"). And that is going to happen.

Let's read through your comments again.. so it would be unfortunate win to opposition party if opposition wins against BJP. That means you are rooting for Modi government. Ultimate confusion!!!
