Indian, Pakistani army trade heavy fire on LoC

Jammu, Jul 17 (IANS): Heavy shelling and firing exchanges are on between Indian and Pakistani Army on Monday on the Line of Control (LoC), a defence official said.

Pakistan, initiating the attack, resorted to unprovoked targeting of the Indian positions on the LoC in Bhimber Gali sector of Jammu and Kashmir, Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta said.

"The indiscriminate firing using small arms, automatics and mortars that started from 7.30 a.m. is still on," Mehta told IANS here.

The Indian Army was retaliating strongly and effectively, he added.

What is the use spending Billions of Dollars on defence armaments and stock piling?
For India it is going to be a learning lesson to face two pronged attacks from PAK & CHNI. Situation is very critical but we cannot sit and watch for long. Need to lasting solution. Destruction least desired.

We are gifted with two neighbours against our will and wish since independence. Lets not analyse now, who is responsible for the situation. Unfortunately both neighbor do not understand the language of Peace. Indian government Nehru to Modi insisted for peace, but back stabbed ( Pancha-Sheela, Himalayan blunder, latest attacks on our cities and military base apart from regular terrorist infiltration). The only option now for India is to stay united, strong and fight back. To be strong we need to have modern weapons. Nothing comes free.
We don't want war, as its disastrous to nation. But are we prepared to sit back and take bullets and lose our land ?

I remember all those false promises about Modi showing 'Laal Aankh' and entering Lahore if there was even one cross border violation.

Looks like 31 % fools must be regretting their choice of voting for a weak leader.

India has stood steadfast with its neighbor as per bilateral agreement at Dokla and challenged rogue country Dadagiri. India never invaded any country in past or present. A stand appreciated at international level. That it self says a lot. We all are Indians by Heart.

There is every chance both of our enemies joining hand. Its not time for divisive politics/comments, I think...That may downgrade the moral of our armed force and send wrong signal to enemy.
