London, Jul 12: The much awaited screening of Konkani movie 'Sophiya' was held by London Friends’ her on July 9. The movie has already been a super hit all over the world and London was no different.

The main sponsor of the movie, the Richard Lobo couple, were excited about the movie and the response it received from fellow Mangalureans.  They took this opportunity to invite the gathered crowd to the forthcoming Monti Fest to be held on September 10, 2017.

The crowd said they want to see many more movies like these. The organisers have promised to present a new movie in September.

The organisers were grateful to Janet Noronha for supporting the premier of the movie in London. They are also thankful to all Mangalureans in the UK for supporting and making the venture a great success.
