Bantwal, Jul 2: "We will not spare the miscreants, no matter where they are hiding now. We will bring them to books, by attaching their properties,” said IGP (Western Range) Harishekaran on Saturday, July 1.

He was speaking in the peace-meet organized at Town Hall here by Dakshina Kannada police department.

“The number of trouble makers constitutes 0.01% in the society. But they are cancerous. They need proper and strong treatment. We are competent to do that. We will not harass the innocent. But suspects will always be interrogated. We are checking the database of trouble makers and analyzing their past and present. Using special modus operandi, we will apprehend those who create trouble with the aid of social media.” he added.

“The offices of crime department and additional superintendent of police are working with more emphasis on Bantwal area. We are installing CCTV cameras in all important parts of Bantwal taluk. If any persons or organizations have any doubts or want to seek clarification, they can come directly to police without any apprehension,” he said.

Watch your children

“Karnataka is a well developed and cultured state in the country where all people want to reside. Dakshina Kannada district, including Bantwal area, was known for peace and harmony. But a seed of hatred was planted here 25 years back. Make sure that your children are guided properly. Watch them so that these anti social elements do not poison them. We will make sure that law and order is maintained in this area.” he concluded.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Jagadeesh who spoke on the occasion asked the people not to lend support to the communalists who want to disrupt peace in the society. He promised that the district administration and police department are going to correct themselves and come up with better measures to maintain law and order. He requested the leaders to inspire the young generation to do good deeds in the society.

Superintendent of Police Sudheer Kumar Reddy said “We are arresting the suspects based on CCTV footages. If one wants to retaliate by throwing stones for the same act done by others, then why do you want police department? We do not want any suggestions and demands which are not logical.”

Now the matter is being handled direct;y by The IGP Harishkekaran with able assistance from The S.P. Mr. Reddy. Their messages are loud and clear.

In the interest of all concerned, if people have any data, it is best that they disclose the data to the officers concerned and help the Police Department to restore peace.

D.K. dist. is fortunate to have a very capable, sincere IGP like Mr. Harishekaran. Hope all peace-loving people get together to support his initiative to clean up D.K. Dist. of all jobless, trouble-making, communal-hatred spreading, divisive jobless goons (most of whom are misled and supported by crooked, selfish political leaders).

D.K. District is badly in need of peace and communal harmony, without which, there cannot be real development and prosperity in our society.

And also threaten to set entire DK on fire if their criminal goonda is not released unconditionally. Give shelter to killers of social activists and protect them from law.

Happy to know determination of IGP towards a peaceful DK. Such good police officers need strong support from citizen...by discouraging moral policing and shawl miscreants and their opposition group. Police alone is good enough for common mans well being. Power of politicians can be shunted when citizens trust in police force! Police too need to be non corrupt and duty bound like police of Dubai, Europe and West ! We need more of Annamalai's, Harishekaran, chandrashekhar and Valentine types!

Special focus and attention is required on the 'sensitive' areas, Cattle thiefs, potential terrorists, trouble makers etc. As evident they have one common factor. The IGP with the law and order needs to introspect this.

First of all arrest and send those jobless immoral goons who proclaims themselves as protectors of society. We have police dept. to maintain law and order. Do not require wretched, jobless, illiterate goons to protect our children and teach us whom to talk, what to eat and how to dress. Once this dirt is cleaned and dumped in Bellary jail, we can live peacefully.

Peter, KSA, well said! If all immoral police goons (including BD & PFI) end up in Bellary jail, 90% of the DK problems are solved! People can eat what they like as they wish!

WHY STILL NOW. NO ARREST ON ROBERT VADRA..

    THERE MIGHT BE TWO REASONS...

EITHER. VADRA IS HONEST OR MODI IS A LIER.

Here is The Inspector General of Police. He does not mince words. He say what he means and means what he says.

The I.G.P. menas PEACE and by all means people should follow his advice.

It is unfortunate that D.K. which used to be a PEACEFUL AREA has now turned into a place for miscreants to play their roles. However it is a question of time before the trouble makers will be booked.

I join scores of people in saying kudos to The I.G.P.
