Sunny Friday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Jun 23 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.

The MeT has predicted pleasant weather conditions towards the afternoon.

"It will be a partly cloudy sky and thunders are likely to occur towards the afternoon," an official from the Indian Meteorological Department told IANS.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 75 per cent. There was 2.6 mm rainfall on Thursday.

The maximum temperature on Thursday settled at 33.8 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average and the minimum was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal.
