Excellent choice. Father Wilfred Prakash D'Souza with his years of experience and fund of knowledge should be able to do full justice to the confidence reposed him. His predecessor Father Lobo had done an excellent job as also the one who managed the institute biz. Father Valerian D'Souza.

Indeed Father Prakash should be ale to continue the good work done by his predecessors and of course he will take the college to greater heights. Under his regime, the college may be an university. This is the wish of all his well wishers, this is their prayer and this is their ambition.

A person who done an excellent job has decided to go for higher studies. Let us all wish Fr. Lobo the best of everything in his future career as a scholastic. The one before Fr. Lobo ie. Father Valerian D'Souza too had given an excellent account of himself as a director.

Now Fr. Prakash D'Souza has stepped in and he spells success wherever he is. He did a good job at Father Mullers and then at St. Antony's College. I join scores of people in wishing Father Prakash every success. Hope he will excel all the previous jobs and convert SJEC into an University.

    Good luck Father Prakash.

We are very fond of St. Joseph's Engineering Collge at Vamanjoor from the time the Building complex was under constrction. We have visited the Instittution several times during the time when Mnsgr. Fred Pereira and Fr. Valerian D'Souza was there. Since then we have been busy but would like to visit the complex again. We hope our Toastmasters Gavel Club is still alive and that many of the students are learning some of the new techniques of leadership in order to be the future successful Engineers.

Our best wishes to you, Fr. Wilfred, and we look forward to visiting with you on our next visit.

I jon scores of people in congratulating Father Prakash D'Souza on his appointment as the Director of St. Joseph's Engineering College. This assignment has not gone to him as a favour or as an incident but indeed as a recognition of his services to the diocese of Mangalore. With his excellent track record Father Prakash should do an excellent job and take the institute to greater heights.

I have known Father Prakash for several years years as a dedicated worker - working relentlessly for any cause.

The outgoing director Father Lobo joined the institute some years ago when he took charge from Father Valerian D'Souza. I have no hesitation in stating that SJEC has always been fortunate to have had good people to rule and serve.
