Mangaluru, Jun 20: ‘Kalakulotsav’, a two-day Konkani drama festival by ‘Kalakul’ – Konkani’s lone theatre repertory, run by Mandd Sobhann, was held on June 18, at the Town Hall, Mangalore.
The first play presented that evening was ‘Magirchem Magir’ written by Chafra D’Costa.
After a quiz round for the audience, conducted by Arun Raj Rodrigues, the second play, ‘Dev ani Denvchar’ written by him, was presented.
Both plays were directed by Christopher D’Souza Neenasam.
The other 2 plays of Kalakul – ‘1+1=1’ and ‘Paying Guest’ will be presented on June 25 at the Town Hall, at 5.30 pm. Entry is free for everyone.
