Abu Dhabi, Jun 1: Karnataka Cultural Foundation, a premier organisation of Kannadigas living in the capital city of UAE, recently conducted its general body meeting at KCF Abu Dhabi offic. Numerous members and guests attended the meeting.
Outgoing president KH Mohammad Saqafi in his address welcomed all the executive and patron members, and guests for participating in the general body meeting. He thanked all executive committee members for their generous support and trust on him, which allowed him to run the office for two years. He reiterated the generous support of each member and their contribution for the noble cause. He also requested all the members for their whole hearted support in all future North Karnataka Knowledge Village Projects of Karnataka Cultural Foundation. General secretary Hassainar Amani presented the annual report, which displayed the commitment of KCF Abu Dhabi towards the development of poor and needy community in the undivided coastal districts as well as North Karnataka. He also briefed about the activities and events conducted during the year 2015-17. Treasurer Hassan Haji Chikmangangalore presented the financial report of KCF Abu Dhabi Zone.
Chief guest of the event Hafiz Abdul Salam Nizami Chennar emphasized the importance of social welfare of community and responsibility towards under privileged part of the community. He apprised how KCF has served the community with social commitment.
KCF INC president Hameed Saadi Ishwaramangala explained the roles of different divisions to focus on goal oriented approach. He also shed light on KCF expansion in GCC, Malasiya, England and how its cause oriented initiatives are applauded by people from all walks of life.
KCF INC returning officers Jaleel Niazmi and Hussain innoli convened the selection process for new executive committee for the year 2017-19.
