Beltangady: Car veers off road at Venur, climbs up tree!

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady

Beltangady, May 21: An accident at Venur here on Sunday May 21 made for a peculiar sight, with a car found to have climbed half way up a tree.

The accident took place at Karimanelu in the limits of Venur police.

Valerian, a resident of Gandhinagar, was on his way to Beltangady early morning on Sunday. When he reached the curve at Karimanelu, in a bid to give way to another vehicle, he veered off to the side of the road. In the process, he lost control of his Mahindra TUV vehicle and it spun around, coming to a stop after having climbed half way up the tree.

Another person identified as Imran was also in the car.

Both Valerian and Imran escaped with minor injuries.

The curve at Karimanelu is said to be accident-prone. The locals urged that measures be taken to prevent such accidents.

It is a unusual sight. But in whole,be thankful to God that both escaped from any great injurys.,or they are alive. And their vehicle is only last matter.vehicle is not climbing up from self.Has to also know to control thier gas pedal. If it was a woman ,all would have laughed. So everyone must keep up to the rules and try tohave control over yourself,so that many lives would be saved.
