Xi, Trump discuss Korean Peninsula situation over phone

Beijing, Apr 24 (IANS): Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Donald Trump on Monday discussed bilateral ties and the situation on the Korean Peninsular over phone, a media report said.

They pledged close contact through various means to promptly exchange views on major issues of common concern, Xinhua news agency reported.
