Mangaluru, Mar 25: Sandeep Wagle, senior reporter at Kannada Prabha daily has been selected for PaGo Award for rural reporting for the year 2016.
The award has been instituted in memory of P Gopalakrishna by PaGo Memorial Trust, and is presented annually by the Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Union (DKWJU).
The award is being presented for Wagle's article 'Nadige Bandu Soragida Koragaru' published in Kannada Prabha daily on July 26, 2016.
"The award consists of cash prize of Rs 10,000, a certificate and memento," said Dakshina Kannada working journalists' union chief secretary Srinivasa Nayak Indaje in a press release.
