Mangaluru, March 22: Known for her bold and fluent oration, Anushree is said to have made audience gravitate towards herself with her element of situational humour. The number one producer of a Kannada channel, Anushree will have another magnificient feather added in her capwith her debut in Coastalwood, as the lead in Tulu film 'Kori Rotti'.

She has produced the music programme SaReGaMaPa which has become a household name in the state. Though, this is her first film in her mother tongue, she has already acted in Kannada films 'Benki Potna', 'Ring Master', 'Mada Mathu Manasi' and 'Uppu Huli Khara'.

She had stepped into the world of media as a producer in Namma TV channel and is now a producer with great demand. She has made a career with her mother's support and hard work and was the first girl among celebrities of the coast to enter big boss reality show.

Besides being a producer in different channels, she has compered Filmfare Awards and Audio Release programmes of Kannada movies.

“There are high expectations from the first film in my mother tongue. My mother wanted me to act in a Tulu movie. Therefore when I got a nice story, I agreed. I am glad to act in a Tulu film,” she said.

Though she has presented several television programmes in Kannada, she remarks being a  little nervous when delivering dialogues in Tulu. “I can speak any amount in Tulu. But there is a difference between speaking and saying the dialogues. I may get accustomed to dialogues in a day or two”, she said.

“There were many offers in 'Tulu, but I had not accepted them”, she said and added that she liked the way Rajneesh narrated the story. And as her mother too wanted her to act in Tulu films, she has agreed to it.
