Bengaluru: Will not rest until we get justice- Eshwarappa in Brigade meeting

Bengaluru, Mar 5: All is not well in the relationship between Rayanna Brigade and BJP. In other words between B S Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa, going by the words uttered by the latter in Rayanna Brigade meeting here on Saturday, March 4.

Eshwarappa said that he will not rest until the members of Rayanna Brigade get justice during a function in which new office bearers of Brigade took charge.
This statement has come as a shocker to BJP leadership as Eshwarappa had promised that he would not use Rayanna Brigade for any political purpose after BJP national president Amit Shah brokered a deal between him and B S Yeddyurappa.

“Rayanna Brigade is apolitical which will work for the empowerment of backward classes. That does not mean we will keep quiet when injustice is done by a political party. I have already spoken to Yeddyurappa and Amit Shah regarding the reversal of the suspension of some Rayanna Brigade members from BJP. We also wanted right posts for them in BJP. I do not know why there is unexplained delay in this matter.” Eshwarappa said during his speech.

He also said he believed that problem will be resolved soon.

“Brigade is not against Yeddyurappa and BJP. It is a forum for backward classes. I am unhappy with many wrong people from other parties joining BJP these days. Many party members are not happy with this development,” Eshwarappa concluded.

The meeting also decided to about holding committee meetings in every district and forming committees before that.

Eswarappa is a Kuruba and Yeddy is Lingayat. Recognize this fact first. Secondly why should only the dominant communities like the Brahmins, Lingayats and Vokkaligas rule Karnataka? Kurubas also have leaders. Eshwarappa may perform better than Yeddy. Yet he and his caste is not recognized. When has the BJP promoted billavas, kurubas, dalits, Christians and Muslims? It is time for Eswarappa either to come out of BJP or fight the battle from within to wreck this upper caste bias.
