Jolly LLB bags 89 Cr in 9 days : Court scenes could have been more serious


Mangalore, Feb 20 : Jolly LLB, directed by Subash Kapoor has reportedly earned around Rs 89 Crores in nine days, giving a signal to Akshay Kumar to join 100 Cr club in his back-to-back movies. Earlier his movies Houseful 3, Airlift, Rostom joined the Rs 100 Cr club.

Those who are watching the movie in second week in tier 2 cities are in the opinion that, court room scene could have been more serious than showed in the movie. "I think, the concept of court has been mocked in the movie" says a female Law student from Mangalore. "There was no no seriousness in some court scenes. Saurabh Shukla is a fantastic actor, but serious acting would have given him more stars" the law student opined.

"Movie is a good time pass but I can see some technical errors in the movie. That is common, but I feel those things could have avoided" says another male student from Mangalore city, without eloborating the technical errors.

Subhash Kapoor’s courtroom drama has certainly benefited from Akshay’s star power. Co-stars Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla expressed that Akshay as an actor and star brings a different facet to the film.

According to the Indian Express website, Annu Kappor says, “To bring more star power to the sequel should not be considered crime. We all are here to do business. There’s nothing wrong in it. Akshay Kumar is the most saleable, commercially viable superstar of this era. Trade analysts have declared that ”
