Mangaluru: SJEC conducts workshop on case developing and publishing

Mangaluru, Jan 19: The department of business administration at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, here organized a one-day workshop on 'case developing and publishing' on January 10. Dr Rajasekharan Pillai, professor, School of Management, Manipal University was the resource person for the workshop.

Dr Prakash Pinto, dean – MBA at SJEC welcomed the gathering. Dr Pillai delved on the nuances of developing a case and a research paper. He related his experience of formulating a case, case structuring and techniques of answering reviewer’s queries for publication.

In the post lunch session, Dr Pillai gave a hands on experience of writing a case followed by presentation by the participants. Dr Pillai also reviewed few case write-ups and shared his thoughts about the same.

Babitha Rohit, assistant professor in the department of business administration at SJEC proposed the vote of thanks.

Over 40 commerce and management faculty members from various undergraduate and post graduate colleges attended the workshop.
