New Delhi, Jan 10 (Agencies) : Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Arjun Rampal will formally join the Bhartiya Janata Party on Tuesday, adding the star quotient to the party’s poll campaign in Uttar Pradesh. “I am not a politician and am not here for politics. I am here to see how can I extend my support to them [BJP],” Rampal told news agency
The actors will be formally inducted into the party on Tuesday at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya will also meet the two. The seven-phase Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will begin on February 11, and results will be announced on March 11.
