Margao, Nov 15: Ten dainty damsels will rock the ramp of Miss Goa 2007 on November 16 at Kesaral Garden, Verna.
Amelia D’Cunha, Casilda D'Costa, Denika Gomes, Anita Soni, Biora Carvalho, Akshya Singh, Sridevi Naik, Preeeti D'Souza, Ashlina Barboza and Sevillina Diniz are vying in this contest to grab the much-coveted crown.
Joe Dias of VJT entertainment said that the event was aimed at giving a plank to Goan girls in the world of modelling. Choreographers Romanch Mehta and Pooja Pradhan from Mumbai revealed that all the ten girls were ready for grand finale.
They have all been trained in such a way that they will be able to walk the ramp of professional modeling, said Pooja while addressing a press conference.
The 'Miss Goa' contest is gaining much popularity every year, with the result that the organizers have received about 297 applications from every nook and corner of Goa.
Three Bollywood personalities and a Goan artiste will judge the show on Friday.
Miss Goa 2005 Janice Sobti, troupes from Mumbai and African dancers will add spice to the show.
Bollywood star Rupali will be the chief guest of the event.
