Four militants killed in Afghan airstrike


Kabul, May 18 (IANS): Four militants were killed in an airstrike in Afghanistan's Kunduz province, an official said on Wednesday.

"Late Tuesday night, a drone of the coalition forces conducted an airstrike on a moving vehicle in Dasht-e-Archi district, killing the four militants aboard the vehicle," the official told Xinhua news agency.

A local Taliban commander named Mohammad Nasir was among the killed, the official added.
