I have very fond memories of Milagres School (where I studied in Std. 6th & 7th), where the Staff worked really hard to bring up their students in a spirit of discipline as well as imparting a high quality of education.

Many of the stalwarts of Mangalore passed out from its portals and brought glory to the institution, as well making a mark in life and in society.

Wishing Milagres Institutions, Mangalore all success and glory, in their endeavours.

Every single brick added to the Educational activities of Milagres brings additional joy and pride for us because Milagres High School has given us the boost after my initial three years with the Bethany Nuns at Kankanady. Every new step taken towards enhancing the Educational values under the Mangalore Diocese has given us new feelings for greater patriotism towards Mangalore and India. We are proud of not only ourselves but also thousands of other students, regardless of their faith, have prospered and advanced in their careers and also their performances in life.

While we are proud of the glory and prosperity of Mangalore in every sense of the word, we are indebted to the Elementary School, the Middle School as well as the High School of Mangalore that has given us the boost in our knowledge and also our attachment towards Mangalore.

The contributions made by the Catholic Diocese in and around Mangalore towards Education, Medication and also Industrialization is enormous indeed. It has a direct contribution towards the progress of the country as a whole. One can feel the positive impact from a distance more than by being physically on the spot.

We have a nice collection of Books that we would like to donate to the Milagres College Library during our next visit to our beloved home town.

When we see Bishop Aloysius and Fr. Valerian in the pictures, we always remember Fr. Mnsgr. Fred Pereira who was also a great stalwart and supporter towards Educational enhancement of Mangalore. May God bless them all, and may the Education bring greater solidarity and unity amongst all the people of Mangalore.

Education is our strength for a durable and successful foundation of Mangalooru. Education not only brings greater knowledge but also greater unity amongst people of all backgrounds and religions which is the prime catalyst for the growth and continued progress of any lace anywhere including India. "Dhanyawadh".
