Mangalore, Jul 20: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Dakshina Kannada unit condemned the recent action of suspected Naxalites who allegedly robbed four houses at Gubbiga and Tallurangadi near Agumbe.

The action of the alleged Naxalites was nasty, said K Monappa Bhandary, president of the unit and Satish Prabhu, president of Mangalore Assembly constituency committee in a release.

This specifies that their objective was to create a fear among people and rob them, they said.

They urged the government to take immediate action against the accused and their supporters and all the organizations supporting Naxal activities, said the BJP leaders.
