According to the Christian Calendar, 'Maundy Thursday' is the holy day before Easter, which commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his Apostles, which is in turn followed by Good Friday.
On this holy day, the priest wash feet of 12 chosen persons reprenting the twelve disciplines of Jesus and gives them holy blessings.
