The DoT directive which has banned over 150 blogs and websites has turned futile. Technology enables access to any gagged blog.

Hackers have found out easy means to enter the gagged blogs. Through one of the Pakistani operated blog gateway one can access most of the 'jammed'  blogs.

While there is a hue and cry over the blocking of blogs which several claim to be curtailment of the freedom of speech, the hackers have found a way out.

Sources reveal that this blog gateway came into existence when people wanted to access blogs that were banned in Pakistan after the row over the cartoon on Prophet Mohammed.

Technology on one hand seems to have failed as the government has banned blogs, but the same technology has won again as these ‘jammed spaces’ can still be accessed.

The regularly accessed blogs run by the police department – www.spdk.blogspot.com and udupipolice.blogspot.com can also be accessed through this gateway.
