Demi Lovato reaches out to Paris Jackson

Los Angeles, Jun 7 (IANS): Singer Demi Lovato has reached out to late pop legend Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter Paris, encouraging her to "stay strong" following her alleged suicide attempt.

The “X Factor USA” judge, who spent time in a rehab for an eating disorder, self-harm and emotional issues in late 2010, took to Twitter to convey her message to Paris, reports contactmusic.com.

"Dear Paris Jackson, don't let bullies to let you down. We believe in you!! Stay strong, Please,” she tweeted.

Paris slashed one of her wrists with a meat cleaver at her Calabasas, California home and was rushed to a hospital Wednesday morning. Her grandmother Katherine Jackson's attorney said Paris is doing well.
