Kundapur: St Mary’s Educational Institutions begin academic year

Kundapur, Jun 7: Prominent St Marys Educational institutions like St Mary’s Pu College, St Marys Primary School and High School, Holy Rosary English Medium School and Holy Rosary Kindergarten School began on Thursday June 7.

Fr Anil D’Souza, School convener flagged off the new academic year by lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, he said students along with their academic studies should also learn to be disciplined. Students who learn here should be a good citizens and respect the elderly people along with it they should bring name in the society, thus making their parents proud.

On the occasion, Rajesh Kaveri, old student and Kundapur municipality member distributed books to the students and wished good luck.

Praveen Amruth Martis, principal of St Marys PU College, Dora Suvaris, headmistress of St Marys higher primary school shared the dais. The students conducted a prayer service.

L J Fernandes, headmaster of St Marys high school welcomed the gathering, Nagaraj Shetty compered while Sr Joysaline delivered the vote of thanks.
