"Ninna Kanna Notadalli... Nooru ase kandenu.... Ninna manada hasurinalli... Nanne maretu hodenoooo...."

No.... My P. B. Sreenivas.... Your voice is in my heart and I will take it in future.... Yes. as you said today the word (M)USIC is meaning less without M - Melody. What remained now is USIC or U-SICK if you listen... In New generation songs Back ground beatings occupied forground and songs are not important to be heard or rhythmless

I dreamt PBS you will survive till 100. But you left me early .... Your songs will continue .... Yellige payana ? yavudu daari.... ?

Aadisi nodu ... Beelisi Nodu ... Uruli hogadu....

I have heard your Gandada Gudi songs in my boyhood days in Gramophone plates.... I even don't know they are movie songs... I don't know who sang those.... But later as I grow I am thrilled to know that it is you who sung those.... I imbibed you in me onwards....

Oh... What else to tell ? My PBS is no more... God ... Please bring him back...

Dr. Rajkumar told that PBS is "Nanna Shareerada Shaareera...." Nothing is more relevant....

    Akaashave Bilali Mele.......
    (This too ditto...!)
These classics are a hit with every 'Miss' and never miss their mark even today!
Dear Sir PBS -There will never be another like you! Your voice forever will take us to the 'valleys' where we will hear even the 'sounds of silence'....Know for sure that Goddess Saraswati has welcomed with open arms one of her most beloved sons.....

    DEAR BROTHERS JAIMINI AND DINESH,
THIS IS A DAY OF GRIEF.
LET US PRAY FOR THE SOULS OF BOTH GREATS.
SO MANY TIMES WE ORDINARY PEOPLE HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPARE.
WE CAN ONLY APPRECIATE MORE OR LESS.
THE TALENTS OF THESE PEOPLE ARE DIVINE AND NOT ORDINARY.
OF COURSE WE MISSED A BIT OF PBS IN KANNADA BECAUSE RAJ STARTED REALISING HIS SINGING POTENTIAL.
HE CARRIED ON AND ON ROBUSTLY AND GAVE SEVERAL WONDERFUL RENDITIONS.
IF PBS WANTED HE COULD COMPETE.
BUT THEY WERE THE BEST OF FRIENDS.
DO WE REALLY KNOW THEIR FRIENDSHIP AND UNDERSTANDING?
    NO AND NEVER.
FACTS ARE ALWAYS SACRED AND COMMENTS ARE ALWAYS FREE.

He is a true legend of kannada film music industry. May his tuneful soul rest in peace. Somehow I feel in recent years people are forgetting such a legend. If you see the number of programs organized in the name of Rajkumar, Rafi, Kishore etc (though they are also legends) there are hardly any program organized in memory of SRi PBS. I think kannada organizers should think of this so that music lovers get to listen to his melodious numbers of yester years.
